Touchstone is a non-profit community based social service agency. We have been providing services to Richmond and nearby areas since 1983.

Our services have primarily focused on preserving and enhancing family relationships. Through qualified staff, we offer a wide variety of professional services to the community.

What will I do?

Provide childcare for fun parent support group.

What experience will I gain?

Knowledge and experience working with children 0-6
Fun and rewarding experience
References provided
Training and certification provided.

What qualifications do I need?

Be 19 years of age or older
Available at least one weekday morning (Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Commitment of at least 6 months.
Have a desire to work with young children.

RJ Volunteering

Who are the participants in these forums?

Victims and young offenders of crime with their respective families.

What is the cost for training?

Training is free of charge.

Is there any other training involved?

Yes, volunteers can take advantage of other free training offered such as first aid, CPR, and non-violent crisis intervention.

Will I learn other skills?

In addition to gaining facilitation, interview and presentation skills, you will play an active role in helping to create a safer community for youth and residents of Richmond.
