Community Action Plan
for Children (CAP-C)
The Community Action Plan for
Children (CAP-C) is an open access
program that provides a supportive
learning environment and community
support to parents, grandparents,
caregivers and their children aged 0-6
years old.
CAPC staff and
volunteers provide
services to the
Asian community
in Richmond, supporting those parents and
children whose first language is not English.
Over the last 22 years the CAPC program
continues to run family support groups
promoting the health of young children,
enhancing parent/child interaction
and building awareness of
community resources. Many of
these families are new to Canada
and benefit from the connection to
needed resources.
The Community Action Plan for
Children is funded by the Federal
Government of Canada.
