Breaking BARRiers is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens Group (MBSR-T). It is an effective and evidence-based intervention proven to reduce stress and the physical and psychological conditions that result. Breaking BARRier can improve an adolescent's functioning and quality of living socially, physically, and psychologically.
Individual/Family Counselling/Parent-Teen Mediation
Youth who access this support have identified goals of service and are connected to the appropriate staff of the RESET Youth Team in achieving those goals through individual and/or family counselling/mediation support/outreach.

StreetSmarts - Youth Leadership & Mentorship Programs
StreetSmarts is an Open Access Program for youth aged 12-19 who can benefit from a positive, supportive,
non-judgemental adult mentor in their lives.
School Readiness Group
The School Readiness Group meets every Tuesday-Thursday from 9:30am- 2:00 pm (during school year). The focus is on youth who are not attending secondary school or who are at risk of losing school placement. In a small group setting, topics include academic preparedness, conflict resolution, emotional management, just to list a few. Works closely in advocacy role with reintegration with Richmond community high schools as well as the RSB outreach teacher team.
