Volunteering with the Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) at Touchstone Family Association is a rewarding way to support families and children in Richmond.

The CAP-C program is for parents to expand their social support networks, share experience, and learn more about community resources. Parents will participate in group discussions around parenting, child development, family relationship and self discovery... etc. At the same time, children will have interactive play in a safe and fun environment.

We recruit volunteers to work with children age 0-6 years old in this fun program.

As a CAPC volunteer, you’ll engage in activities that promote the health and well-being of young children and their families, focusing on those facing challenging
circumstances. This program offers a variety of roles, from assisting in group activities to providing one-on-one support, all aimed at fostering a nurturing and
supportive environment. Volunteers receive training and ongoing support, making it an excellent opportunity to develop skills in child development, community
outreach, and family support. By joining CAPC, you contribute to building a stronger, healthier community.
