Touchstone is a CARF International accredited organization, and has been since 2002. The accreditation process itself represents an extensive quality assurance undertaking.

What is CARF?

CARF International is an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human services. Through accreditation, CARF assists service providers, like Touchstone, in demonstrating value by the quality of their services and meeting internationally-recognized organizational and program standards. Essentially, CARF accreditation is a catalyst for an organization’s continuous quality improvement.

Why is Accreditation important?

The accreditation process assists Touchstone to improve the quality of our services and meet internationally recognized standards. Clients, their families, funders and community stakeholders look for CARF accreditation as assurance that Touchstone offers the highest qualityservices. Achieving accreditation shows the community our commitment to continuously improve services, manage risk, and analyze our performance measures, inline with our mission, vision and values.

Touchstone completed our most recent CARF accreditation survey in December 2023, where we received our eight consecutive three-year accreditation award.
