Touchstone Family Association is proud to be CARF International accredited since 2002, reflecting our long-standing commitment to excellence in health and human services. Accreditation is more than a credential, it represents our dedication to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and best practices in service delivery.
What is CARF?
CARF International is an independent, non-profit accreditor that sets rigorous global standards for organizations like Touchstone, ensuring the highest levels of service quality, accountability, and innovation. Through accreditation, we demonstrate our commitment to providing the best possible support for children, youth, and families in our community.
Why is Accreditation important?
Our Committment to Excellence
Touchstone completed its most recent CARF accreditation survey in December 2023, earning its eighth consecutive three-year accreditation award. Since 2002, Touchstone has maintained continuous CARF accreditation, reflecting more than two decades of commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Our next CARF accreditation survey is scheduled for November 16 to 18, 2026. During the survey, representatives from CARF will visit Touchstone to evaluate how well we meet internationally recognized standards for quality and service excellence. Surveyors may speak with individuals receiving services, family members, staff, funders, board members, and community partners as part of the review process.
We welcome this opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellence, gather feedback, and continue strengthening our services for children, youth, and families.

“Touchstone embeds person-centered approaches throughout the organization. The best interests of the clients are the priority from both a service delivery perspective and an operational perspective. The entire team is passionate about and dedicated to sound practices and delivering meaningful services to the clients it supports.”
