The Front Porch program helps individuals and families find proactive solutions to problems before they become unmanageable. The program aims to enrich and support family life and to nurture the development of healthy neighbourhoods that will, in turn, create communities that are stronger, more caring and more responsive to children, youth and families.
Available by self-referral, the Front Porch is a free service, run by donation from generous funders. We employ a "pay it forward" philosophy, where clients first receive the service at no charge and then are invited to donate if they can for someone else to receive service in the future.
The Front Porch Program is funded by donations from the Tee Cup Charity Golf Tournament, endowment proceeds from Richmond Community Foundation, BC Gaming, RBC Future Launch and donations from generous organizations and individuals in our community.
