The School Readiness Program is a supportive, transition-focused program for Richmond youth in Grades 8–12 who are currently out of school or experiencing barriers to success in a traditional school setting.

We support students who have an academic plan in place to help them return to school or complete graduation requirements. Our program works with youth experiencing a wide range of challenges, including learning differences, mental health concerns, neurodiversity, and complex family circumstances.

We provide a wrap-around approach that supports both youth and their families by addressing barriers to school attendance, strengthening accountability, and building the skills needed for educational success.

Through partnership with the Richmond School District, we help students build readiness for school success by supporting credit completion and providing dedicated advocacy between families, schools, and outreach teams.
  • The RESET Youth team run School Readiness Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm throughout the school year.
  • Beyond the academic year, we offer a free Summer Recreation program to keep students engaged and connected during July and August.
